Oma and Opa came to town again and had some fun with little miss Kayla. The weather was beautiful one day, cold and rainy most of the rest. We did walk down to the Greenlake playground where everyone had a good time. Kayla went down the slide for the first time and also got her first merry -go-round ride. I tend to get ill just watching those, so she might have to wait until they visit again.
We also walked around the arboretum. I was hoping more of the cherry blossoms would be in bloom, but there were a few. Kayla had fun blowing kisses at us, eating her dad’s nose and being bounced in the air while walking. She had lots of giggles that day.
One cold day we went to the science center. Kayla played in the toddler area and then we all went to the butterfly room. That was pretty fun. There were these somewhat large blue butterflies fluttering all around. One of them took a ride on Opa’s head for most of the time he was in there. The butterfly has its wings folded up so you can’t see the blue.
Kayla also started rolling the ball back to you sometimes, is attempting to put things back into or on containers, and continues to like the drum and music.
