This summer we had a family reunion in Coeur D’Alene Id. It was a pretty fantastic get together and relaxing time. One of the houses we stayed in was right on the lake and we were able to spend some time on the patio together eating and hanging out.

My girls met their Colorado cousins and had some good times learning some teenage habits. They all spent time with the girls and played games, pool, volleyball, frisbee and more.

This house had many areas one of which was a grassy, beach area that had a bar, bonfire and the volley ball net. There was most certainly some smores making and a new even some bacon smores for the meat lovers.

There was a hiking trail nearby which was great for morning walks and lots of rocks for the more adventurous activities. Kayla was one of the ones brave enough for cliff jumping. She was amazing. My mom jumped, most of the cousins and so finally I did too. I think next time I’ll stick to watching.

Besides paddle boarding, kayaking and floating in the lake, we rented a ski boat for a couple of days. That was a hit with everyone. Tubing, skiing, wakeboarding, fishing, lots of fun. Weather was perfect and it was a trip to remember for sure.
