tubing fun

For the long president’s day weekend we all decided to go have some fun at our cabin. Saturday we went skiing and Sunday was a road trip into Leavenworth. There we hit the tubing park at the Leavenworth Ski Hill. Snow coverage was super low there but they had enough on the tube run to still have fun.

To get to the top of the tube run, your tube is attached to a rope tow and you are towed up backwards. Then you are unattached at the top and sent down the run. If you are lucky (or unlucky for dizzy folks like me) they guy will spin you like crazy and off you go spinning down. Sometimes they sent two tubes off together for a super fast ride.

The girls loved it and laughed and did it over and over. I thought it was pretty fun too and I think so did Tim. You were able to take as many runs as you wanted for 90 minutes. After tubing we walked around the town a bit. It was cold and we were hungry, so we got a bite to eat then headed back to the cabin. Fun weekend.
