The girls and I were brave enough to try the flight to Florida alone again. No major delays. Just an hour each way. We had one scare that it might be a really long delay, but it worked out alright. The weather in Florida was perfect. High 70’s-80 and not too hot. We had lots of fun mostly hanging out but we did get out on the sailboat one day. Of course there really wasn’t much wind that day but we did see some dolphins and that is always fantastic.

The pool was heated at this time of the year and the temperature felt really nice. The girls got into the pool everyday and I really thank Opa for his swim lessons. Kayla made some huge progress in her swimming and actually got to the point of moving through the water (face in) kicking and moving her arms. She has to learn to breathe while staying afloat now, but for this moment it was amazing.

Julia enjoyed the pool too but really loved these fountains. We had been there last year when it was almost too hot, but this time we had trouble getting her to leave.

One day we went to a greek festival and they had a kids ride area. Kayla wanted to get into one of these balls that floated on the water. First you climb in, then they use an electric blower to fill it back up with air and zip you in. Some kids tried to stand and walk, others just were on hands and knees moving around. Kayla seemed to really enjoy this. We all had a great visit. Thanks!
