We visited the jungle this Halloween. The girls looked more cute than ferocious.

We started the evening off at Licton springs park near Kayla’s school. There was some interesting trick or treating happening there. Rapunzel was one of the “friends of the park” and when the kids asked her to “let down her hair” she did and it was full of lollipops for the kids to take one.

My little elephant wasn’t too sure about all the park fun. There were pirates making the kids walk the plank for their treat, spiders inviting the kids to their lair, and a leaf pile that would offer candy from the branches, among others. It was very creative and fun.

We were even blessed with a double rainbow. If you look closely you can see the faint second one.

Back at the home front our tiger joined forces with the spider princess Micah to take on the street and our little elephant finally started to enjoy the trick or treating.

Ricardo joined the girls on the trick or treating and here they are back home enjoying some of the treats.

Both girls took part in the pumpkin carving this year. Both girls drew their faces (well I sort of helped pick out the shapes from the doodles, but they were there) and Kayla helped to carve them. It’s hard to film glowing pumpkins but you can get an idea at least.
