Both girls are continuing to amaze us (and challenge us). Julia has been practicing some of her new words over and over, and at meal times will often point at the bowl and say “bowl”, then the spoon and say “spoon”, etc. Her favorite (or maybe mine) is “Kayla” which involves alot of layla sounds with lots of tongue. It’s super cute. She seems to love walking (and very nearly running) and still loves being part of all the action.
Kayla’s language is also growing. She’s playing around with he and her, and some other difficult english grammar such as amn’t (aren’t) and other funny sounding past tense attempts. She is often the “big kid” now at the parks which blows me away. She tries new things at the playground all the time. She continues to make up songs and is really into the imaginary play at the moment.
