We made the trek to the East coast last week to do some visiting and to attend Kyle and Talitha’s wedding, of course. Our first stop was Groveland to see Kristin, Darge, Avery and Parker. Kayla had lots of time to practice her new walking skills as it poured rain all day. (We declared Kayla a walker this past weekend as she was doing more and more of it alone.) The rain was to be with us until the last day of our trip, Sunday. Kristin’s kids are super cute and Avery (4 years and a big helper to K) and Parker (20 months and saying hi baby to K.) seemed to enjoy Kayla’s company.
After MA we drove to Vermont. We got to visit with the Marinellos and it was good to see them all again. Anne hooked us up with a cottage at Silver Lake which we enjoyed. Oma and Opa arrived on Friday, and were kind enough to look after Kayla so Tim and I could go hiking. That evening there was a rehersal dinner and the next day was the wedding. Sunday we had a super nice brunch at the Woodstock Inn and did some more hanging out with family. We also attended what was most likely the world’s most boring tour to see the Marsh-Billings-Roosevelt Mansion. The pictures are of the two grandmas with granddaughters (Tessa being Brent and Erika’s baby), and Kayla getting a ride on the luggage cart in our hotel room on the last night.
