Well, we survived the week. Tim made it home sometime after midnight last night. It feels nice to have the family together and Kayla seems to be enjoying Tim being home again.
We had a busy week, getting out for walks every day and meeting with friends for coffee or dinner. Joe and Korey were a super help on Thursday giving me some respite and making some yummy dinner. The weather has taken a turn towards winter, so we have walked in the rain some. Kayla has this warm fleecy thing for her stroller, but still perfers the bjorn at times. Rain or not, she’s happy being worn.
Kayla has been working on rolling over to her tummy this week. One day she did it repeatedly. She hasn’t figured out how to get her arm out of the way to complete the roll. I haven’t seen her repeatedly doing something like this before. She is also staying in a sitting position longer than before. She of course isn’t able to sit on her own for more than a second or two, but if she has a toy to hold onto to keep her balanced it can be slightly longer. She also likes to put her hands on mine for clapping games and seems to enjoy clapping with me during “if you’re happy…”.
