Sitting and drumming

Yes, this is Kayla sitting on her own. Okay, so it was only for about two seconds, but hey she’s four months old. The picutre is blurry, but as I said before, I only had a second or two before she fell over. And, Kayla really doesn’t like to be in the sitting position at all. This was somewhat of a fluke. You can see that Oma had to entice her with quite a pile of toys. Yes this girl prefers to be in a standing position and will hold her body rigid most often when you try to put her in a sitting position.

Oma sat (yes Kayla will sometimes sit on your lap) with Kayla at the drum, and Kayla actually copied Oma. Oma would take a turn and hit the drum, then Kayla would hit the durm. Other than the bfffftt sound, this was the only time I really recall Kayla copying.
